MVP Disc Sports Eclipse Glow 2.0 Glitch Hybrid Catch Disc, 155–160 g, Speed 1 Glide 7, PDGA Approved

Designed to be playful and practical, the Glitch blends MVP’s signature gyro-stable rim with a soft, slow flight profile so you get a disc that’s easy to throw, easy to catch, and stays aloft. The Eclipse Glow 2.0 plastic increases visibility after dusk while resisting wear, and the 7 mm class gives a predictable, glide-forward feel suited to warm-ups, casual catch, and PDGA-approved rounds.

What makes the Glitch feel so floaty and forgiving?

The Glitch combines a low-speed profile with a high glide rating, so it resists dropping and travels farther on gentle throws. Its rim geometry and weight range (155–160g) reduce torque and help maintain stable flight without aggressive fade.

• Speed 1, Glide 7 — maximizes airtime on soft throws.
• Turn 0, Fade 0 — minimal late movement for predictable landings.
• 7 mm rim class — comfortable for casual catches and short drives.
• 155–160 g — balanced for both younger and adult players.

How does Eclipse Glow 2.0 help visibility and durability?

Eclipse Glow 2.0 is MVP’s premium glowing plastic engineered to charge under light and emit a steady glow in low-light conditions. The compound is thicker and more resilient than standard glow plastics, so the disc keeps its flight characteristics longer even with regular use.

• Bright glow after exposure to light — easy to spot at dusk.
• Enhanced abrasion resistance — holds up against rough landings.
• Consistent grip and flex across temperatures.
• Clear cosmetics that highlight the MVP stamp and artwork.

Is the Glitch suitable for competitive play or only casual use?

The Glitch is PDGA approved, meaning it can be used in sanctioned tournaments. While many players carry it for warm-ups and scramble shots, its consistent flight and approved status make it a legitimate option for approach shots and creative course play.

• PDGA approved — permitted in competition.
• Versatile for practice, putts, and low-speed approaches.
• Great backup disc for unpredictable lies and tight lines.
• Works well for players refining touch and release technique.

How should I use the Glitch in my bag?

Think of the Glitch as a multi-use utility disc: ideal for warm-up catch, long glidey putts, and finesse approaches that demand steady airtime. Its friendly rim and slow speed also make it an excellent teaching tool for new players learning form and distance control.

• Warm-ups — dial in angles and grip before rounds.
• Putting — long, floaty putt attempts with soft landings.
• Approaches — scramble or gap shots that need glide not fade.
• Recreational play — safe, easy catches for all skill levels.

Who is this for? The MVP Eclipse Glow 2.0 Glitch suits players who want a friendly, high-glide disc for warm-ups, long putts, and creative approaches. It’s perfect for beginners learning distance control, intermediate players seeking a consistent glide option, and experienced competitors who value a glow-capable utility disc that’s PDGA approved. If you want a safe-to-catch, long-flying disc that stays visible after sundown, the Glitch belongs in your bag.
