Paddletek Bantam TS-5 pickleball paddle, Horizon (Yellow), lightweight control and spin

The Paddletek Bantam TS-5 is a lightweight competition-ready pickleball paddle built with a Bantam PolyCore honeycomb interior, textured fiberglass-epoxy face, and a high-tack cushioned grip for improved control and consistency.

Designed to balance speed, touch, and durability, the Bantam TS-5 merges a responsive polymer honeycomb core with a textured hybrid surface to give players a predictable ball feel and an expanded sweet spot. Its reduced weight makes quick exchanges and fast wrist work easier, while the shock-absorbing edge guard and cushioned grip help minimize vibration during long sessions. This paddle is USAPA-approved for tournament play and designed for players who want pro-level materials in a nimble package.

How does the Bantam TS-5 affect control and shot placement?

The combination of the Bantam PolyCore honeycomb and the textured fiberglass-epoxy hybrid face produces a consistent rebound and precise ball response, helping you place shots with confidence. The paddle’s ample hitting surface promotes reliable spin and directional control without sacrificing speed.

• Textured face for improved spin control and cleaner contact
• Bantam PolyCore provides steady, predictable ball dwell
• Expanded sweet spot for more forgiving off-center shots
• Balanced weight distribution to aid wrist control and accuracy

Will this paddle reduce shock and fatigue during play?

The TS-5 includes a polymer honeycomb core that dampens impact and a 1/8" edged shock guard to reduce sting on hard returns. Coupled with the ultra-cushion, high-tack grip, the design focuses on player comfort and vibration mitigation so you can play longer with less hand fatigue.

• Honeycomb core absorbs impact energy for softer feel
• Shock guard lessens edge vibrations on miss-hits
• Cushioned high-tack grip reduces slippage and soaks up shock
• Lightweight build reduces arm strain during extended play

How does weight and maneuverability compare to other paddles?

The Bantam TS-5 is intentionally lighter than several models in the Bantam line, giving it faster swing speed and improved responsiveness at the net. That decreased mass allows quicker reaction times without sacrificing the power and pop players expect from Paddletek materials.

• Reduced overall weight for faster racket head speed
• Full-size paddle surface retains power potential
• Ergonomic balance aids rapid wrist and forearm movement
• Well-suited to quick exchanges and aggressive dinking

Is the Bantam TS-5 tournament legal and durable enough for regular play?

The paddle meets USAPA specifications for size, surface, and weight, so it’s permitted at sanctioned events. Built from high-grade polymer core materials and a textured fiberglass-epoxy face, it offers long-term durability for regular club play and competition.

• USAPA-approved dimensions and materials for tournament use
• Hard-wearing face resists scuffing and wear
• Edge guard protects the core from incidental court contact
• Construction designed for consistent performance over many matches
