Paddletek Bantam TS-5 Pickleball Paddle, Wildfire (Red) — Lightweight USAPA-Approved Paddle with Textured Fibreglass Face

The Paddletek Bantam TS-5 is a USAPA-approved, lightweight professional pickleball paddle that balances power, control, and a large sweet spot with a Bantam PolyCore and textured fiberglass-epoxy face.

Built to deliver consistent performance for competitive and recreational players alike, the Bantam TS-5 pairs a durable honeycomb core with a textured hybrid surface and a high-tack, cushioned grip. It’s a lighter iteration of Paddletek’s EX-L line, engineered to offer quicker reactions at the net without sacrificing the punch needed for baseline drives.

How does the Bantam TS-5 affect control and maneuverability?

The reduced weight and ergonomic balance of the TS-5 improve wrist speed and allow faster paddle positioning for volleys and third-shot drops. The ultra-cushion, high-tack grip further stabilizes your hold so you can place shots with confidence under pressure.

• Lightweight construction for faster reaction times and improved transition.
• High-tack grip reduces slippage and increases touch on soft shots.
• Bantam PolyCore dampens vibration for clearer feel on contact.

What kind of power and consistency can players expect?

The foam-poly Bantam core provides a consistent rebound across the surface, translating to predictable ball response on drives and serves. The textured fiberglass-epoxy hybrid face adds bite for spin while maintaining a smooth energy transfer for powerful returns.

• Honeycomb PolyCore yields uniform pop across the sweet spot.
• Textured hybrid face enhances spin potential and shot control.
• 1/8" edged shock guard protects the core for longer-lasting performance.

Is the Bantam TS-5 tournament legal and durable for regular play?

Yes—Paddletek designed the TS-5 to meet USAPA specifications for size, surface, and weight, making it eligible for sanctioned play. The high-grade honeycomb core and edged shock guard also extend the paddle’s lifespan under frequent, competitive use.

• USAPA-approved dimensions and surface construction.
• Durable polymer honeycomb core resists compression over time.
• Shock guard helps prevent edge damage during court contact.

How comfortable is the TS-5 for long sessions?

The ultra-cushion high-tack grip is engineered for prolonged play, offering both cushioning to reduce hand fatigue and tackiness to maintain control without over-tightening. Vibration absorption from the Bantam PolyCore further improves comfort, especially during repeated volleys and drives.

• Cushioned grip reduces fatigue and improves hold during long matches.
• Core construction absorbs vibration for a softer feel at impact.
• Balanced weight minimizes strain during quick exchanges at the net.
