PETZL TIKKINA headlamp, Blue, One Size — 300 Lumens, hybrid AAA/CORE rechargeable, wide beam

Compact and reliable, the PETZL TIKKINA headlamp in blue delivers up to 300 lumens in a lightweight, pocketable design with HYBRID CONCEPT compatibility for AAA or CORE rechargeable power.

The PETZL TIKKINA is a simple, durable headlamp built for everyday outdoor use — from campsite chores and evening walks to household tasks and emergency kits. Its wide, uniform beam gives comfortable close-range illumination while the adjustable tilt plate lets you aim light where you need it. The headband is made from recycled materials and is removable for washing or replacement, and the lamp automatically detects whether you’re using included AAA batteries or an optional CORE rechargeable cell.

How bright is the TIKKINA and what does 300 lumens look like in real use?

The TIKKINA produces a maximum of 300 lumens on high, which is bright enough for short-range outdoor tasks, campsite setup, and walking after dark. The beam emphasizes a broad, even spread rather than a focused hotspot, making nearby objects and footing easy to see without harsh glare.

• 300-lumen peak output for clear close-range visibility
• Wide, uniform beam: comfortable for reading, cooking, and camp chores
• Low and red-light modes extend battery life and reduce night blindness
• Automatic power detection when switching between AAA and CORE battery

What power options and runtime can I expect from this headlamp?

The TIKKINA ships with three standard AAA batteries and is also compatible with the PETZL CORE rechargeable battery under the HYBRID CONCEPT. When using AAA cells you get dependable disposable power; inserting the CORE battery turns it into a rechargeable system and the lamp will automatically adapt its output to the energy source.

• Includes three AAA batteries for immediate use
• Compatible with PETZL CORE rechargeable battery for eco-friendly recharging
• Lamp auto-detects battery type and adjusts performance accordingly
• Choice of brightness levels helps balance output and runtime

How comfortable and durable is the headband and lamp for everyday wear?

The elastic headband is symmetrical for easy adjustment, made entirely from recycled materials, and designed to be removable and washable for long-term comfort. The lamp body tilts on a plate so you can angle light up or down; worn around the neck, it can be tilted to light the trail ahead without raising your head.

• Adjustable, symmetrical headband for a secure fit
• Band made from recycled materials and removable for washing
• Tilt plate gives precise aiming whether on the head or around the neck
• Single-button control simplifies mode selection in cold or gloved hands

How easy is the TIKKINA to use in the field or at home?

Operation is straightforward: a single button cycles through lighting levels and modes so you can change brightness quickly. The wide beam reduces the need to constantly re-aim, and the simple battery compartment makes swapping AAA cells or installing the CORE battery fast and tool-free.

• One-button control for quick mode changes
• Simple battery access for fast swaps or CORE installation
• Lightweight design fits pockets and small packs for grab-and-go use
• Durable build suited to frequent outdoor and everyday use

Who is this for: The PETZL TIKKINA in blue is aimed at hikers, campers, evening dog walkers, home-handymen, and anyone who needs a dependable, low-friction headlamp for close-range tasks. Its lightweight construction, recycled and washable headband, hybrid battery flexibility, and broad beam make it a practical choice for people who want reliable illumination without complicated features or bulk.
