SMITH Daredevil Youth Goggles Black, Rc36 Carbonic-x Lens — OTG fit, anti-fog ventilation

SMITH Daredevil Youth Goggles are lightweight, semi-rimless snow goggles with a Carbonic‑x RC36 cylindrical lens engineered for clear, impact‑resistant vision and an over‑the‑glass friendly fit for kids.

These youth goggles blend a wide field of view with kid‑specific comfort features so young riders can see more of the trail without distracting pressure from their eyeglasses. The semi‑rimless frame maximizes peripheral vision while the Carbonic‑x lens balances optical clarity, durability, and ventilation to help reduce fog. Designed to pair closely with Smith helmets, the Daredevil prioritizes fit, stability, and easy integration for active children.

How do these goggles improve a child’s view on the mountain?

The semi‑rimless design removes visual obstructions at the top and sides, giving a broader, more natural sweep of terrain. The RC36 Carbonic‑x lens provides high contrast and dependable clarity across a range of light conditions, helping kids spot contours and obstacles sooner.

• Semi‑rimless frame for expanded peripheral vision
• Carbonic‑x RC36 cylindrical lens for improved contrast and clarity
• Anti‑fog venting system to maintain a clear sightline

Will these goggles fit over prescription glasses comfortably?

Yes — the Daredevil uses a floating foam construction that creates space for eyeglass temples and prevents pressure on the sides of the head. This over‑the‑glass (OTG) design keeps glasses stable and reduces the common pinch points that make children remove their goggles.

• Floating foam layers allow temple room without shifting the goggles
• Generous internal volume for most junior spectacle frames
• Stable strap and frame shape that secures both goggles and glasses

How does the lens handle impact and fog when kids are active?

The Carbonic‑x lens material is engineered for impact resistance while remaining light and optically sound — ideal for energetic use. Strategic venting combined with foam layers promotes airflow to reduce fog buildup during play and rapid temperature changes.

• Durable Carbonic‑x construction resists impacts and scratches
• Multi‑layer foam and vents encourage steady airflow
• Lens coatings and design reduce condensation without sacrificing clarity

How well do these goggles integrate with helmets and stay comfortable all day?

The Daredevil is shaped to work seamlessly with Smith helmets, aligning venting and fitfor a secure, comfortable setup. The strap and frame flex are balanced to stay put during falls or vigorous play while remaining soft against a child’s face.

• Helmet‑compatible frame geometry for aligned venting and fit
• Adjustable silicone‑backed strap keeps goggles in place on helmets
• Soft, layered face foam for pressure relief and long‑wear comfort

Who is this for? The SMITH Daredevil Youth Goggles are built for kids and young teens who want a wide field of view, reliable lens performance, and an OTG‑friendly fit that pairs easily with helmets. They suit families seeking a durable, comfortable goggle for ski days, snowboarding lessons, and everyday mountain play — especially when clear vision and secure integration with helmets matter.
