Axiom Discs Eclipse Glow 2.0 Proxy Disc Golf Putter 170-175g — Straight-Stable, Night-Visible

The Axiom Discs Eclipse Glow 2.0 Proxy is a straight-stable putter in a glowable Eclipse plastic, built for reliable approaches and predictable putts.

The Proxy blends mild high-speed turn with a forward-stable finish, giving players a putter that can be manipulated for gentle anhyzer lines or trusted for straight releases. Offered in Axiom’s Eclipse Glow 2.0 material, this run emphasizes nighttime and low-light visibility while maintaining durability for long-term use. With PDGA approval and the familiar 10mm putter profile, the Proxy sits in a versatile niche between approach disc and straight putter drive.

How does the Proxy handle straight putts and short approaches?

The Proxy is engineered to fly straight with a subtle forward fade, so it holds lines well on firm putts and low-power approach throws. The modest turn at high speed lets stronger throws push into gentle curves without flipping into unstable angles.

• Speed 3 and Glide 3 provide controlled flight and reduced overstability compared with faster putters.
• Turn -1 allows slight anhyzer or turnover on full-power releases when needed.
• Fade 0.5 produces a soft, predictable finish into chains or turf.
• 10 mm rim class balances grip and comfort for standard putting grips.

What benefits does Eclipse Glow 2.0 offer for visibility and durability?

Eclipse Glow 2.0 is Axiom’s premium glow compound designed to charge in daylight and glow for nighttime play. It also emphasizes toughness, resisting dings and deformation so the Proxy keeps consistent flight longer than softer glow plastics.

• High-charge glow for evening rounds and low light conditions.
• Stiffness and abrasion resistance help preserve rim shape and flight characteristics.
• Vivid color options (colors may vary) increase daytime visibility and tracking.
• Consistent feel across multiple rounds thanks to durable polymer blend.

How will the Proxy fit into my bag compared to other putters?

The Proxy occupies the straight-stable putter slot with enough turn to be used for short hyzer-flip drives by players with more power. It’s a solid choice as a primary putter or as a dedicated short approach disc for mixed-bag setups.

• Use it for inside-the-circle putting where predictability matters most.
• Works well for controlled 200–250 ft approaches that need a flat flight.
• Pairs effectively with overstable putters for tailwind or powering situations.
• Lightweight options (170–175g) suit players seeking comfortable grip and touch shots.

Who is this for? The Axiom Eclipse Glow 2.0 Proxy is aimed at recreational and competitive players who want a dependable straight-stable putter that also handles controlled turnover when required. It suits players who value visible, durable plastic for early-morning, evening, or rainy-round play, and those seeking a versatile putter to cover both precise inside-the-circle putting and shorter approach drives without swapping discs constantly.
