Discraft ESP Hades Paul McBeth Distance Driver 167-169g, Stable Max Distance, ESP Plastic

The Discraft Paul McBeth ESP Hades is a limited-edition, stable maximum-distance driver built for controllable power and consistent long-range performance.

Designed as Paul McBeth’s fifth signature release and a complementary counterpart to the Zeus, the Hades delivers predictable flight for players who want big distance without wild fade. Molded in durable ESP plastic and released in assorted colors, this distance driver balances high speed with dependable stability and a low-turn profile that helps tighten lines at full power.

How does the Hades behave on long tee shots?

The Hades is tuned for maximum-range shots where stability under speed matters. With a Speed 12 rating and a Fade 2, it resists early turnover while still providing strong forward carry and a controlled finish.

• Flight ratings: Speed 12, Glide 6, Turn -3, Fade 2 for long, fast lines.
• Stability Rating 1.0 — stable under power but manageable for most arm speeds.
• Low turn (-3) helps it hold a straight-to-finish path on hard throws.
• ESP plastic maintains flight characteristics through wear for consistent distance.

Will the Hades suit intermediate players or only advanced players?

The Hades is built to be accessible across experience levels: advanced players can push it for maximum distance, while intermediate throwers will find its controllable stability easier to master than an overstable big-bead driver.

• Stable but not overly high fade—easier to control than many maximum-distance molds.
• ESP grip and rim feel help newcomers learn clean release and power transfer.
• Weight range 167–169 g offers a balance between distance and handling for a variety of arm speeds.

What makes the ESP plastic and Paul McBeth hot stamp special?

ESP plastic is prized for its durable, grippy finish that holds flight shape longer than basic plastics. The Paul McBeth Signature hot stamp marks this as a collectible, limited-edition run favored by collectors and players who follow McBeth’s mold choices.

• ESP plastic: durable, slightly tacky for confident releases and reliable wear resistance.
• Paul McBeth hot stamp indicates a signature-series mold and limited-edition appeal.
• Colors may vary between discs, adding variety for collectors and players alike.

How should I use the Hades in my bag for best results?

Use the Hades as your go-to maximum-distance driver on wide, open tee shots and long fairway gaps. It excels when thrown with clean form and higher power, where its stability and glide produce long, usable drives.

• Ideal for distance drives on open holes or crosswind conditions needing reliable finish.
• Can replace or complement a Zeus for players who want similar distance with slightly different stability profile.
• Practice with full-power throws to understand its turn-to-fade transition and maximize carry.
