Discraft Luna putt-and-approach disc — Z Swirl Blend 2025 Tour Series, tacky grip and neutral flight

Discraft's Paul McBeth Z Swirl Blend 2025 Tour Series Luna is a neutral, highly controllable putt-and-approach disc that combines tacky grip with dependable glide for confident scoring shots.

The 2025 Tour Series Luna returns in Z Swirl Blend plastic, offering a subtle increase in stability and a grippier hand feel compared with standard runs. Designed as a go-to putt-and-approach tool, this Luna keeps the classic neutral flight that players trust while the swirled Z Blend finish gives both visual flair and a tactile edge. As a signature Paul McBeth Tour Series release, colors, weight, and foil details vary per disc, making each one a unique collectible and functional piece of equipment.

How does the Luna behave on short putts and touchy approaches?

The Luna maintains a straight, predictable line on short putts and gentle approaches, reducing surprises when you need consistency. The added tackiness of the Z Swirl Blend enhances grip for confident releases and cleaner follow-throughs, especially in varied conditions.

• Neutral flight keeps putts on intended lines
• Tacky Z Swirl surface improves control at release
• Reliable glide for smooth approach landings
• Disc weights suitable for controllable touch shots

What makes the Z Swirl Blend different from other Lunа plastics?

Z Swirl Blend merges the durability of Z plastic with a marbled, softer finish that slightly increases stability without sacrificing the Luna’s signature neutral understability. The visual swirl pattern also produces collectible aesthetics, so each disc feels distinct in both hand and appearance.

• Blend of Z plastic durability and a softer, tacky finish
• Slightly more stable flight compared to baseline runs
• Swirled coloring creates one-of-a-kind looks
• Foil and stamp variations enhance collector appeal

How does this Luna suit different throwing styles and course situations?

The Luna's neutral tuning makes it a versatile option for backhand and forehand players, offering predictable release behavior for both hyzer-flip approaches and straight putts. It performs well in tight wooded courses for line shaping and also holds its own as a confident scorer on open layouts when you need a disc that won't overfly the target.

• Good for hyzer-to-flat hyzer-flip approaches
• Consistent for both backhand and forehand accuracy
• Useful in wooded lines and open parkland alike
• Available in various weights to match player preference

How should I choose the right weight and use this Tour Series disc?

Select a lighter Luna for touchy, finesse shots that require maximum glide and minimal fade, or a heavier one if you prefer a bit more stability in windy conditions. As a Tour Series piece, this disc may come in limited weights and foil options, so pick a weight that complements your throwing speed and desired touch around the basket.

• Lighter weights: increased glide and softer landings
• Heavier weights: added stability in wind and firm landings
• Choose based on throwing speed and approach preferences
• Tour Series variants are collectible—check foil and weight before purchase
