Discraft Ultimate Ultra-Star 175g Disc - 2-Pack White, Tournament-Standard Flight

Made to the official weight and profile used in competitive Ultimate, the Discraft Ultra-Star 175g offers predictable aerodynamics and a contoured rim for comfortable holds and controlled releases. Sold here as a two-disc white pack, this set is a go-to for pick-up games, team practice, and league play. Discraft's Ultra-Star is recognized globally as the sport standard and is the official disc of USA Ultimate.

How does the Ultra-Star 175g perform compared with casual flying discs?

The Ultra-Star 175-gram model is molded to stricter tolerances than recreational discs, giving it a steadier glide, truer trajectory, and less wobble in wind. Players rely on its consistency for accurate throws, catches, and competitive strategies.

• Official tournament weight: 175 grams for standardized flight.
• Contoured rim for secure grip and cleaner releases.
• Engineered to reduce wobble and resist unpredictable shifts in wind.
• Durable plastic retains shape and flight profile through heavy use.

What grips and throwing styles benefit most from this disc?

The rim profile and stiffness suit a wide range of grips—forehand, backhand, and overhead throws—making the Ultra-Star versatile for all skill levels. Its balanced feel helps newer players gain control and lets experienced throwers fine-tune angles and power for advanced maneuvers.

• Contoured edge supports fingertip and full-finger grips.
• Firm plastic improves snap and release for forehands.
• Stable flight aids flicks, hucks, and quick backhands.
• Consistent spin retention enhances catchability downfield.

How durable is the Ultra-Star during regular practice and tournaments?

Built from robust molded plastic, the Ultra-Star holds its shape and weight even after repeated impacts and outdoor exposure. This durability maintains flight consistency over many sessions, so teams and clubs can rely on it without frequent replacements.

• High-quality plastic resists cracking and deformation.
• Maintains weight and rim integrity after heavy use.
• White finish is easy to spot in typical play conditions.
• Two-disc pack gives a spare for drills or backups in games.

What makes this 2-pack practical for teams and casual players?

Buying the Ultra-Star in a two-pack gives immediate redundancy for practice rotations, warm-ups, or quick games when one disc is lost or out of play. The white color is highly visible and standard for training and competition, simplifying set-up for coaches and captains.

• Two discs let you keep one in reserve during practice sessions.
• Uniform color and weight simplify team training drills.
• Cost-effective compared with buying singles individually.
• Recognized standard reduces compatibility issues in tournaments.
