Giro Nine Snow Helmet, Matte Charcoal (2020), Size Medium — Low-Profile, Dial-Fit Venting

The Giro Nine Snow Helmet in Matte Charcoal is a low-profile, performance-driven ski and snowboard helmet with adjustable fit and quick-response ventilation for season-long comfort.

The Nine is an updated classic from Giro that blends a slim silhouette with user-friendly controls and modern safety construction. Built with an in-mold polycarbonate shell and a responsive foam liner, this size M (55.5–59 cm) version balances protection with light weight. Intuitive fit tuning and the Thermostat Control vents lets you adapt the helmet quickly to changing weather and exertion, while compatibility with Giro goggles and audio accessories makes it an adaptable choice for riders seeking dependable everyday performance.

How does the Giro Nine achieve a secure, custom fit?

The Nine uses an easy dial-fit system that you can operate while wearing gloves, providing fast incremental adjustments for a locked-in feel. Vertical tuning also lets you alter how the helmet sits relative to your goggles so you can eliminate uncomfortable gaps.

• In Form Fit dial offers up to 6 cm of micro-adjustment for precise stability.
• Vertical Tuning adapts helmet position to different goggle profiles and head shapes.
• Low-profile shell design reduces bulk for a closer, streamlined fit.

What ventilation features keep lenses clear and the rider comfortable?

Thermostat Control lets you instantly open or close vents from the helmet exterior, so you can increase airflow during climbs and seal it when conditions turn cold or wet. The front Stack Vent aligns with your goggles to help reduce fogging while directing fresh air across the lens.

• External Thermostat Control button for quick airflow changes without removing gloves.
• Stack Vent positioned to reduce goggle fogging and improve airflow across the face.
• In-mold construction enables lighter shell and more effective vent channels.

Will this helmet work with my goggles and audio accessories?

The Giro Nine is designed to integrate smoothly with Giro goggles, creating a close, gaper-gap-free connection for improved fit and optics. It’s also compatible with aftermarket Giro audio systems so you can add wired or wireless sound without interfering with fit or comfort.

• Seamless compatibility with Giro Balance and Scan goggles for optimized pairing.
• Compatibility with Giro/Outdoor Tech audio accessories for on-hill entertainment.
• Vertical tuning and low-profile rim keep goggles and helmet aligned.

Who is this for? The Giro Nine in Matte Charcoal (Size M) suits skiers and snowboarders who want a dependable, low-profile helmet with fast, glove-friendly adjustability and simple ventilation control.
