PETZL TIKKINA 300 Lumens Headlamp, Green, One Size — Wide Even Beam, HYBRID power

The PETZL TIKKINA is a compact, 300-lumen headlamp that delivers a wide, even beam for close-up tasks, camping, and everyday hands-free light.

Lightweight and simple to operate, the TIKKINA puts practical illumination within reach whether you're hiking after dusk, setting up a tent, or moving around a workshop. Its low-profile housing and easily adjustable strap make it comfortable to wear for long periods, while PETZL’s HYBRID CONCEPT lets you switch between three standard alkaline batteries and the CORE rechargeable battery without changing settings.

How bright is the TIKKINA and what kind of beam does it produce?

The headlamp puts out up to 300 lumens with a broad, uniform beam designed for nearby viewing and peripheral awareness rather than long-distance spotting. It’s optimized for tasks like reading maps, cooking at camp, or navigating trails at night.

• Maximum 300 lumens for short- to mid-range visibility
• Wide, even light distribution to reduce hot spots and shadows
• Comfortable close-range illumination for tasks and footing

How do you power the TIKKINA and how long will the batteries last?

The TIKKINA uses PETZL’s HYBRID CONCEPT: it operates with three included standard batteries or the optional CORE rechargeable battery. The lamp auto-detects the power source and adapts output settings so you don’t need to fiddle with modes when swapping batteries.

• Works with three standard alkaline batteries (included)
• Compatible with CORE rechargeable battery (sold separately)
• Automatic power-source detection to maintain consistent performance

How easy is it to wear and adjust for different activities?

The TIKKINA is designed for comfort and quick adjustments. The symmetrical headband is removable and fully washable, and the lamp plate tilts so you can angle light down at your hands or up to see farther when worn around the neck.

• Adjustable, symmetrical headband for a balanced fit
• Removable strap made from recycled materials—machine washable
• Tilting lamp plate for precise beam direction while working or walking

What controls and features make the TIKKINA user-friendly?

A single large button cycles through lighting levels, keeping operation simple even with gloves or in the dark. The headlamp’s durable housing and straightforward interface make it a practical choice for everyday use and outdoor trips.

• Single-button control for quick mode changes
• Durable construction suitable for regular outdoor use
• Low-profile design that packs easily into pockets or gear bags

Who is this for: The PETZL TIKKINA is ideal for campers, hikers, commuters, and anyone who needs dependable hands-free light without complexity. It’s a good pick for first-time headlamp buyers, people who value lightweight gear, and those who prefer the flexibility of either disposable or rechargeable power. If you want an affordable, user-friendly headlamp with a comfortable fit and a wide beam for close tasks, the TIKKINA delivers practical performance in a compact package.
