victridge Soft Shell Flag Football Helmet, Black, Size Medium — 10mm EVA Padding, Lightweight Ventilated

VICTRIDGE Soft Shell Flag Football Helmet is a lightweight, 10mm EVA-padded headgear designed to protect the crown, forehead, sides and ears during 7v7 flag football and rugby practice.

Engineered to give players breathable, low-profile coverage without the bulk of a hard-shell helmet, this soft shell option balances protection, comfort and clear hearing. The helmet uses a high-density 10mm EVA foam wrap, contoured ear panels with sound-friendly openings, and large crown vents to help manage heat and moisture during drills and games. It’s intended as padded headgear for practices and non-tackle formats, and sizing follows head circumference so you can pick the right fit for youth and adult players.

How does the padding protect during fast drills?

The VICTRIDGE helmet features a continuous 10mm layer of high-density EVA foam that cushions impacts from routine bumps and contact during practice. Because the foam wraps the crown, forehead, sides and ears, it gives consistent coverage around common contact areas without adding notable weight.

• 10mm high-density EVA foam wrapping key head zones
• Flexible shell that absorbs and disperses low-velocity impacts
• Coverage designed for flag football and rugby practice scenarios

Will this helmet stay comfortable through long practice sessions?

Yes — the soft polyester shell and lining feel gentle against the skin and the oversized 3/8-inch vents around the crown and sides help release heat and moisture. At roughly 3.87 ounces, the headgear remains light so it won’t weigh players down during conditioning or repeated drills.

• Soft polyester lining for reduced chafing and irritation
• Large vents for improved airflow during running and cutting
• Contoured design to limit pressure build-up over extended wear

How do I achieve a secure fit and care for the helmet?

The helmet offers two adjustment points: rear laces to set the internal circumference and a chin strap to lock the fit before play. For cleaning, hand wash with mild soap in cold water and air dry in the shade; avoid machine washing and tumble drying to maintain foam integrity.

• Rear laces let you tailor the internal fit first
• Fastening the chin strap helps reduce shifting during cuts
• Hand wash only and air dry to preserve foam and shell

How do I choose the correct size?

Measure the widest part of the head about one inch above the eyebrows and select by head circumference rather than age. If a measurement falls between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort and proper fit. Keep in mind this is soft padded headgear, not a hard-shell helmet; verify league equipment rules before use.

• M: 17–20.5 in (43–52 cm); L: 20.5–23.5 in (52–60 cm)
• Measure 1 inch above eyebrows around the widest head point
• Choose larger size if between measurements; check league standards

Who is this for: The VICTRIDGE Soft Shell Flag Football Helmet suits youth and adult athletes who play non-tackle formats like 7v7 flag football or need padded headgear for rugby scrum practice. It appeals to coaches and parents seeking breathable, low-weight coverage that protects during routine contact and keeps players hearing and moving freely. This product is best for practices, drills, and leagues that allow soft-shell protection — it is not a substitute for certified hard-shell helmets in tackle football situations.
