The PETZL TIKKINA is a compact, 300-lumen headlamp with a wide, uniform beam and HYBRID CONCEPT power options for everyday outdoor and campsite use.

Small but capable, the TIKKINA pairs straightforward controls with interchangeable power sources so you can grab it for hikes, evening chores, reading in a tent, or quick tasks around the house. Its lightweight design and removable headband make it easy to stow and maintain, while a simple tilt mechanism and single-button interface keep operation intuitive—ideal whether you carry standard batteries or the reusable CORE battery.

How bright is the TIKKINA and what does its beam do?

The lamp produces up to 300 lumens and is tuned to deliver a broad, even light that’s comfortable for close-up work and walking. It avoids harsh hotspots to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.

• 300-lumen maximum output for clear visibility in low light
• Wide, uniform beam suitable for reading, cooking, and navigating trails
• Close-range illumination optimized for tasks at foot-level

What power options are available and how does HYBRID CONCEPT work?

The TIKKINA accepts three standard AAA batteries and is compatible with PETZL’s CORE rechargeable battery. The headlamp automatically recognizes the inserted energy source and adjusts its performance accordingly, giving you flexible fueling choices.

• Includes three standard batteries for immediate use
• Supports PETZL CORE rechargeable battery for frequent users
• Automatic detection optimizes runtime and output based on battery type

How does the lamp handle aiming, fit, and cleaning?

The lamp housing sits on a tilting plate so you can angle light up or down without repositioning the headband. The symmetrical, removable strap is made from recycled materials and can be washed or replaced to maintain hygiene and fit.

• Tilting plate for precise beam direction when worn on the head or neck
• Adjustable, symmetric headband for balanced comfort
• Strap removable and washable, constructed from recycled fabric

How easy is the TIKKINA to operate in the dark?

Operation is handled by a single button that cycles through lighting levels for fast, one-handed control. That simplicity helps when you’re gloved, hurried, or working outside after sundown.

• One-button control for quick access to lighting modes
• Simple mode switching—ideal for tasks requiring fast changes
• Clear tactile feedback so you can operate it without looking

Who is this for? The PETZL TIKKINA fits anyone wanting a reliable, no-fuss headlamp: weekend campers, dog walkers, home handypersons, and commuters who need a lightweight, packable light. It’s particularly useful for those who value flexible power options—use disposable AAA cells in a pinch or a CORE rechargeable for repeated outings—and for buyers who prefer an uncomplicated interface, easy cleaning, and a broad beam for close-range tasks.
